When I started constructing this quiz for people who are thinking of living and working abroad the idea was to give a score at the end. Those who scored highly would be definite candidates for the ex-pat life, the rest I’d hoped would reconsider and stay at home. There’s nothing wrong with being happy where you live and there are plenty of people who are miserable in the sun.
What I hope is that these questions will make you think about the challenges of living and working abroad. Some of the answers aren’t obvious, but there’s no right and wrong.
